Reflections and Advice:

1.) What do you think makes your school unique relative to other boarding schools?
It had fantastic buildings, amazing campus and dorms. The environment was perfect and set me up to succeed in college.
2.) What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?
I’ve changed quite a bit while at Fryeburg Academy. Playing sports was my biggest achievement in high school and am forever grateful that I had that opportunity.
3.) What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?
I would definitely tell future students to join lots of clubs and play sports as it helped me get into college, so use every opportunity to do extracurricular activities.
4.) What did you like most about your school?
The facilities, my coaches, my teachers and my friends
5.) Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?
You should definitely check out the athletic facilities!

Academics:

1.) Describe the academics at your school - what did you like most about it?
The academics were hard but taught me so much. The teachers prepared me well for college. The teaching styles were ideal and could not ask for a better education.

Athletics:

1.) Describe the athletics at your school - what did you like most about it?
I absolutely loved my coaches and my teammates. Our team spirit is like no other and our facilities made me want to train even harder every day. Playing both football and lacrosse made me feel like I played an important part of the school.

I didn’t take any classes in visual arts or music.

Extracurricular Opportunities:

1.) Describe the extracurriculars offered at your school - what did you like most about it?
I loved my math team. Being within such competition made me think harder and push myself to better myself in math. Knowing I wanted to pursue engineering, the math team was the perfect setting for me to practice math and be competitive

Dorm Life:

1.) Describe the dorm life in your school - what did you like most about it?
The rooms were beautiful. Such great facilities. My friends all lived in the dorms, which was perfect.

Dining:

1.) Describe the dining arrangements at your school.
The food was amazing as the food came from fresh organic farms. It was very good food compared to other schools.

Social and Town Life:

1.) Describe the school's town and surrounding area.
Living within the town of Fryeburg, it is a safe community with small cafes and restaurants that are accessible. Also, being so far away from the city made it quiet and peaceful.
2.) Describe the social life at your school - what did you like most about it?
My social life was great. I’ve met some of my best friends that will be my friends for life. I’m forever grateful that the school brought us together.
