Reflections and Advice:
1.) What do you think makes your school unique relative to other boarding schools?
There is an amazing family atmosphere at Knox that is unlike any other school I attended. I highly recommend the school for any parent looking for a boarding school because your child will be cared for by the staff as if they are their own child. The academic program is also stellar and there is a very active campus life for boarding and day students.
2.) What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?
I found that I became a more independent person after my time at Knox. I don't know that I would have grown so much without the support of the faculty and my friends at this amazing school.
3.) What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?
I would have started at Knox in 9th grade instead of 10th grade.
4.) What did you like most about your school?
The family atmosphere.
5.) Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?
I love all the Knox traditions! Make sure you take part in as many as you can from the Lantern Parade to Gym Night.
Academics:
1.) Describe the academics at your school - what did you like most about it?
The small classes at Knox are one of its greatest qualities. As a student you get a lot of one on one time with your teachers. Additionally, the small class sizes really allows for more involvement during class discussions.
Athletics:
1.) Describe the athletics at your school - what did you like most about it?
I enjoyed that the school had other programs other than tradition athletics. I was a part of the Dance Team and Equestrian Team.
Art, Music, and Theatre:
1.) Describe the arts program at your school - what did you like most about it?
There was a very active musical theater program at the school. I participated in many concerts, musicals, dramas during my time at Knox.
Extracurricular Opportunities:
1.) Describe the extracurriculars offered at your school - what did you like most about it?
I was involved in Student Council, the Debate Team, Cooking Club, and Spanish Club. There are so many activities that each student can find something that sparks their interest.
Dorm Life:
1.) Describe the dorm life in your school - what did you like most about it?
Not only do you make friends at Knox, but the people you live with become like family members. The Dorm parents have a lot of activities that make living in the dorms great fun.
Dining:
1.) Describe the dining arrangements at your school.
I enjoy the salad bar and the hot meals that were provided by the awesome cafeteria staff.
Social and Town Life:
1.) Describe the school's town and surrounding area.
The area surrounding Knox is a beautiful scenic area. Plus, the school is not far from NYC which has a ton of cultural and education attractions.
2.) Describe the social life at your school - what did you like most about it?
The School attempts to create a ton of social activities for its students. From weekend trips to NYC to Halloween haunted houses. It is always great fun.

The sizes of classes are quite small, which I think is unique because it allows for more concentrated lessons and more one one-on-one teaching. The smallest class I've been to only had three other students. . .
